Biography
Dr. Alan Steven Nasar, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with advanced training in joint replacement, focusing on the surgical management of hip, knee, and shoulder conditions. He holds a medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Stony Brook University Hospital. He went on to pursue a fellowship in adult joint reconstruction at the Desert Orthopedic Center in Nevada, where he gained specialized experience in contemporary joint replacement techniques.
With a foundation in mechanical engineering, Dr. Nasar brings a precision-oriented approach to orthopedic care. He integrates his technical expertise with clinical best practices to address degenerative joint conditions through minimally invasive methods and refined surgical protocols. As Chair of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at CentraState Medical Center, he maintains a leadership role in advancing orthopedic standards and promoting excellence in surgical outcomes.
