Biography
Dr. Ali Valimahomed, MD, is a dual board-certified physician in Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, with ACGME-accredited fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College and completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Westchester Medical Center through New York Medical College. His residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation was completed at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where he trained at both Columbia and Cornell and was appointed Chief Resident.
Dr. Valimahomed’s clinical expertise spans a wide range of spine, joint, and nerve-related disorders. His advanced fellowship training equips him with specialized proficiency in image-guided procedures and minimally invasive techniques designed to improve function and reduce symptom burden.
His practice philosophy emphasizes a structured, diagnostic approach and the use of evidence-based treatments tailored to each individual’s needs.
