Yana Abayev, DO

Dr. Yana Abayev is a board-certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is experienced in the evaluation and management of injury-related conditions that affect movement and daily function, including those resulting from car accidents and work-related injuries.

Dr. Abayev completed her residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Stony Brook University Medical Center after a transitional internship at Coney Island Hospital. She also completed an Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine Fellowship recognized by the North American Spine Society and affiliated with Rutgers University. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Her experience includes evaluating spine and joint conditions, nerve-related symptoms, and functional limitations following injury. Dr. Abayev emphasizes thorough evaluations and clear clinical findings to guide treatment decisions.
